TECO in Atlanta to Cooperate with Big Peach Co. to Promote Health and Taiwan's Participation in the WHO

On May 3, 2008 Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta will co-sponsor the annual 5K race with Big Peach Running Co. to promote Taiwan¡¦s representation in World Health Organization and the elimination of leukemia and lymphoma. Taiwanese drummers and lion dancers will escort the runners to the starting line and there will be a Taiwan information table at the finish area.

To show your support for the fundamental right of health for the 23 million citizens in Taiwan, please write to your State Representatives, Senators, Governor and Lieutenant Governor to request their recognition and support of Taiwan¡¦s representation in the WHO.
