News & Events >> 2007 TECO Recommends Taiwanese Entrepreneurs for Award July 23, 2007 TECO in Atlanta recommended Dr. Yu Tueng Tsai, from Alabama and Dr. Jane Hsiao and Mr. Start Wu, from Florida, to receive honors at the 2007 Who¡¦s Who in Asian American Communities Award Ceremony and Gala. It is the second year that the Sachi Koto Communications has organized such an event to recognize the outstanding performance and tremendous contributions of Asian Americans in the Southeast United States. Dr. Yu Tueng Tsai¡¦s company, Regitar USA, just celebrated its 20th anniversary in Montgomery, Alabama. It was 20 years ago that Dr. Tsai took over the U.S. and South American distributions from his family. Regitar USA started off like many Taiwanese businesses: family owned, highly flexible with research and development based in Taiwan, manufacturing based in China and distribution mainly in the U.S. Start Wu¡¦s company, King of Fans Inc., provides 64% of the fans sold at Home Depot. Dr. Jane H. Hsiao is a well respected and widely recognized professional in the pharmaceutical field. Director General Wu and Mrs. Rachel Wu, along with 400 other supporters and honorees, attended the WWAAC Gala at the Georgia Aquarium Oceans Ballroom. Eight State Governors, a U.S. Congressman, the City of Atlanta Office of External Affairs and International Relations, Director General Wu and several foreign Consulate Generals in Atlanta submitted congratulatory letters to the Who¡¦s Who in Asian American Communities publication. Dr. Tsai, Dr. Hsiao, and Mr. Start Wu are prime examples of successful entrepreneurs who, in their abundance, give generously of their time and money for the growth of their communities. TECO commends those honored at the WWAAC Gala and all successful and influential Asian Americans who serve as grassroots diplomats within in their communities and across their broad scope of contact. ³Ç¥X¥x°Ó±µ¨ü¨È¸Ç¦W¤H°óªí´ ¾n¨È¯SÄõ¤j¥x¥_¸gÀÙ¤å¤Æ¿ì¨Æ³B±ÀÂ˪ü©Ô¤Ú°¨¦{½²¥É´É³Õ¤h¡B¦òù¨½¹F¦{³\·Ó´f³Õ¤h¤Î§d¸Ö¦b¸³¨Æªøµ¥¤T¤H±µ¨ü¨È¸Ç¬ü¤H¦W¤H°óªí´¡A¥Hªí¹ü¥L̸gÀç¨Æ·~¦³¦¨¡A¨Ã¿n·¥ªA°È°^ÄmªÀ·|Àu¨}¨ÆÂÝ¡C½²¥É´É³Õ¤h¦bªü¦{º©²¸gÀç¨ä®a±Ú¨T¨®¹q¤l¹s¥ó°t¾P¼t¡A³\»¯´f³Õ¤h¦b¦ò¦{ÁÚªü±K¸gÀçÃļt¡A§d¸Ö¦b¸³¨Æªø¸gÀç·®°¤Î¤Ó¶§¯à¨Æ·~¡A¨ÑÀ³®a®xÜ®w³sÂê¹Ô¦Ê¤À¤§¤»¤Q¥|¹q®°¡A¯À¦³·®°°ê¤ý¬üÅA¡C¥L̼ö¤ß¤½¯q¡A¸g±`¦^õXªÀ°Ï¡A¬ÆÀò¦nµû¡A§d¸³¨Æªø¤Ò¤H®}±m´f¤k¤h²{¥ô¹´°È©eû¡C ³]©ó¨È¯SÄõ¤j¤§Sachi Koto¶Ç¼½¤½¥qÄ~¤W¦~¿ì²z³ìªv¨È¦{¨È¸Ç¬ü¤H¦W¤Hªí´«á¡AÄò©ó©ó¥»¦~ÂX¤j¿î¿ïªF«n¦U¦{³Ç¥X¨È¸Ç¤H¤h¡A¥»¦~¹{±ÂÃҮѨ姩ó¤C¤ë¤G¤Q¤@¤é±ß¶¡°²³ìªv¨È¤ô±ÚÀ]Á|¦æ¡A¦@¦³¤T¤Q¤»¦ì¨È¸Ç¦W¤H¤Î¨È¯SÄõ¤j¦U¬É¬Fn¦@¥|¦Ê¾l¤H¥X®u¡A¨å§¤¤¥D¿ì¤H¤k¤h³v¤@«ÅŪ¨ü¼ú¤HÀu¨}¨ÆÂÝ¡A®ðª^¬Û·í·ÅÄɼöµ¸¡C§dºa¬u³Bªø´¿P¶P¨çÀò¥Zµn¬¡°Ê¯S¥Z¡A·í±ß´ë¤Ò°ü¥ç´¿¥X®u¹{¼ú¨å§¡A¦V±o¼ú¤HP¶P¡C
