Bringing in the Holidays with Taiwan:
Atlanta History Center Hosts Festival of Trees

TECO in Atlanta has joined the Festival of Trees for another year of international holiday cheer and good-will. The Festival of Trees is chaired by Lesley Frappier, also of the Canadian Women’s Club of Atlanta. Lesley organizes the International Village exhibit as a way to share Atlanta’s rich diversity with the community and raise additional funds for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Taiwan’s exhibit displays a Lunar New Year wedding scene, which was designed by R.C. Wu’s special assistant, Nicole Denison, Mr. Cheng Hsin Wu of the Taiwanese Folk Arts Association of Atlanta, and Mr. Wen Shu Yeh of the Taiwanese American Cultural Society of Atlanta.

The International holiday village features designer trees and vignettes from over 15 countries represented in Atlanta. Taiwan’s colorful display in the midst of the “global arena” will undoubtedly catch your attention. 駐亞特蘭大辦事處參加國際草木節，展現台灣風華
