Director General R.C. Wu Attended the Board Meeting of the
World Conference of Mayors

Director General R.C. Wu, together with TECO Commercial Division Director Eugene Chen and several members of the Atlanta Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce, attended the board meeting of the World Conference of Mayors (WCM) held at the Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama on January 11th, 2006. Director Chen made a presentation in the meeting introducing Taiwan¡¦s economic development. Mr. Chi-sa Kuo, Director of Tsu-Chi Buddhist Charity Foundation, also briefed the participants of the contributions his foundation made in the aftermath of the Katrina Hurricane in the Southern U.S. His report won the overall compliment of the attendants. Mr. Jack Kuo, President of the Atlanta Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce, also committed to participate in the Business Roundtable Meetings of WCM in the future.
