Taiwan’s Executive Yuan, Minister of State Visits Atlanta

TECO Atlanta arranged for Ms. Mei Yueh Ho, Minister of State in Taiwan’s Executive Yuan, to speak at Taipei Economic and Cultural Office’s Cultural Center to an audience of about eighty local Taiwanese-Americans.

Minister Ho systematically introduced the current evaluations and projections of Taiwan’s economic climate, stressing the stability of Taiwan’s steady upward climb. Ms. Ho quoted the latest statistics to further expound on Taiwan’s role change from recovering to booming. She gave in depth explanations of the relevant policies and reforms set in place by the ROC government.

Minister Ho’s speech was afterwards met with an enthusiastic question and answer session with her audience. Though the Taiwanese-Americans living in Atlanta are geographically far from their homeland of Taiwan, they affirm their commitment and active interest in Taiwan’s growth at every turn.
