U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx Meets with Director General Wu and Taiwanese Professor

Dr. Min-Huei Huang accompanied Director General R.C. Wu and Director Lincoln Ting of TECO Atlanta to visit with North Carolina’s federal representative, The Honorable Ms. Virginia Foxx.

The discussion centered on how to promote further economic investments between Taiwan and North Carolina. Foxx outlined the investment environment in North Carolina and expressed encouragement for Taiwan investors to work with her great state in a greater capacity. Director General Wu expressed his appreciation for Rep. Foxx’s continued promotion of Taiwanese business investment in North Carolina.

Professor Huang of Appalachian State University talked of the professionalism and good reputation of the Taiwanese community in Georgia, which with Rep. Foxx concurred and attested to.

WATA radio station and Daily Democrat paper offered overviews of the meeting and explanations of TECO’s functions as a de facto consulate office.
