Director-General Wu Addresses University of Georgia's Students and Faculty

Director-General R.C. Wu of TECO-Atlanta paid a visit to University of Georgia in Athens on March 29, 2003.  D-G Wu exchanged opinion on bilateral interaction and academic cooperation with Dr. Steve Wrigley, Senior Vice President, Prof. Howard Wiarda, Head of Department of International Affairs, Prof. Gary Bertasch, Director of Center for International Trade and Security, Prof. Han Park, Director of Center for the Study of Global Issues, and Prof. Markus Crepaz.   

D-G Wu also addressed about 60 students and faculty of the University. His lecture, "The Contemporary Political and Economic Development of Taiwan and Cross-strait Relations," was presided over by Dr. Han Park. D-G Wu also discussed Taiwanˇ¦s presidential election and referendum on March 20 and its implications.
