- Subject to Article 22 of the ROC Immigration Law, holders of Resident
Visas admitted into Taiwan are required to apply, within 15 days
after being admitted, for an Alien Resident Certificate
(ARC) and a re-entry permit at the local city/county police departments
or bureaus. The permitted duration of stay is indicated on the ARC.
Holders of valid ARCs must obtain are-entry permit to re-enter Taiwan.
